| Well... put simply, go here: Clicky!
You will have to click on the preview pic... I would have given a direct link to it, but I really like the preview pic and wanted to show it off.
Basically, Alice, Luke and myself went and made a short film.
Enjoy. | comments: 4 comments or Leave a comment |

December
Loyal and generous. - Yes, especially loyal, but especially generous. Sexy. - Not in the least! Ha! Patriotic. - No, I like England, I don't exactly brag about it and I wouldn't fight for it. Active in games and interactions. - Erm... probably... but I'm shy so at times it can be difficult (like when there are a lot of people I don't know). Impatient and hasty. - Sometimes, yes... but I try to be easy going... and I'm often late to do stuff anyway. Ambitious. - In a way, I'm learning instruments and know what I want to do in my career, but I'm not very actively career motivated. Influential in organizations. - No... actually, I don't really know what this means... Fun to be with. - Well I bloody hope so! Otherwise my life is wasted. Loves to socialize. - Yes! As long as it's people I want to socialise with. Loves praises. - In a way, though it does make me sort of embarassed. Loves attention. - Same as above... generally, if it's from friends, then yes. Loves to be loved. - To the extreme... who doesn't? Honest and trustworthy. - Yes, very, if you don't agree then... well... fair enough, but I am. Not pretending. - To do what? Short tempered. - No, got a very long temper... so if you've actually truly pissed me off then well done! Changing personality. - Does this count mood swings?... I guess I can be different depending on who I'm with. Generally very care free and stupid with friends, very self conscious and proper with adults and people I don't know. Not egoistic. - Egotistic, and no I'm not. Another right answer. Take high pride in oneself. - Erm... I won't say I have no pride, but I find it hard to be proud of myself... of some things, like playing guitar, and harmonica (apparently, found out two nights ago that I could actually play the blue one quite well). Hates restrictions. - Yes, especially evident in my photography work... "reference artists!" no, fuck off and die! I don't copy other people in my work, unless it's parody, otherwise I just do what I want to. Loves to joke. - But of course, duh, I'm Burton Earny. Good sense of humor. - I should bloody well hope so, or the thousands of people who like The Llama Song are just retards... which is possible... and this, my friends, is how to instantly lose popularity! Logical. - Captain. Yes, sometimes overly and it's probably annoying... though some things, like diverted traffic signs, I'm not logical about.
And now the stupid one, woo: Take the first 10 songs that come up on random and add "In My Pants" to the end of the song titles.
1: Oasis - Little By Little In My Pants 2: The Who - Had Enough In My Pants 3: Steve Howe - Maiden Voyage In My Pants 4: Korn - Seed In My Pants 5: Lostprophets - Last Summer In My Pants 6: The Beta Band - Dry The Rain In My Pants <-----------BEST ONE BY FAR!!! 7: Led Zeppelin - The Battle Of Evermore In My Pants 8: The Offspring - Genocide In My Pants 9: Steve Howe - Surface Tension In My Pants 10: The Dandy Warhols - Heavenly In My Pants

| My last journal entry was just so lame I want to replace it. So here's the replacement... well, it's not replacing it, the other one is still there, this is just pushing it down the page a bit.
Go down.

| About 2 months guitar playing and I've almost got Mood For A Day by Yes (look up the tab, the whole thing is played by Steve Howe, who is an awesome guitarrist, but I'm still getting there, just I play it a bit slower than he does).
And this night I've been trying out some blues-guitar, with a generic bluesy riff and little solo twiddleys in between, that I was making up as I went along, and they sounded good!
w00t!
And I've got Unintended by Muse working nicely... mainly arpeggios, but still a good song and not necessarily easy to play, just easier than the above.
And I have bought meself a beautiful Ibanez AG85 semi-acoustic, and it's got flat-top strings to make fret changes much quiter and less finger-gratingly bad when it comes to things like the main New Born (by Muse) riff... which literally grated skin off me when I played on normal coiled/wound/whatever strings, but is nice and comfy on these flat strings... oh and I have a Vox AD30VT amp, which is veeery good! w00t, guitar is great! I have a hidden talent!... need to keep working at it, but still, woo, guitars! | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |

| I have a social disorder called Asperger Syndrome. I can't be bothered to explain here, basically it's a high-functioning form of Autism, and if you want me to explain, I will. But not here.
I've known for years, really, but haven't had a psychologist actually assess me until a few days ago, so now it's definite.
Woo. | comments: 9 comments or Leave a comment |
| ... because nothing's been made definite.
And there are only two people out there in college land who know what I'm on about.
But it doesn't matter, maybe I'm just impatient.

Was me birthday yesterday, got lots of cool stuff, and lots of money which can get cool stuff.
Thanks, Nicky and Matt, I'm sad enough to know that the film was from a tour for the album "The Game". Freddie is playing "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". The photo is from the tour for the album "A Kind Of Magic" (four albums later) and is at Wembley Stadium. This was their last tour before Freddie's death, and I guess that's why they put that photo in.
Thanks, Clare for The Killers album, it rules so much! "All These Things That I've Done" is a great song to live by at the moment. Yes, live by. And "Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll" just plain rules! Shame they spell it the American way, but they are American so I will let them off this time.
Craig and Jess, thanks for the shirt and Queen DVD... I watched it... it wasn't the dreaded 5 hours, it was a kick-arse 2 hours, hehe. And to my surprise John Deacon actually got into it rather than standing there looking grumpy, go John! (He's the bassist for those less cultured of you. Yes, if you don'tt like Queen, you're uncultured.)
Thanks for the Naked Gun set, Luke. I've only watched the first so far, which I had seen before, same with second, but I'm watching them anyway. Haven't seen third yet, not fully, so I'm looking forward to that most of all. Yey for the pointlessly stupid hell of it! Like where the guy was found floating face down in the water and there's a chalk outline on the water... and whenever it changes scene and he's in his car he always crashes into something... like bins... or a fisherman... or scaffolding with loads of workers on it... yey!
And thanks to EVERYONE else I've forgotten... Alice and Sarah I might as well thank you in advance, so... thanks!... hehe. And yey for the coming weekend, London Eye and Muse! w00t!
And as a side note, talking to people can be good sometimes. I don't mean talking to me, just anyone, about whatever is on your mind, to relieve it a bit.
This song also rules... but it's a different song now, because I can't write all that in the space of one song (unless it's something like Yes - Gates Of Delirium... 21:54... that's right, 22 minutes of weirdness, hooray for Yes!)... but the point is, the album "The Dandy Warhols Come Down" rules, so woo for that.
And I'm done. Sorry for the essay, see you all soon! | comments: 4 comments or Leave a comment |
| I just spent the day in London, and didn't get 1 damn photo! I mean, I missed a lesson of photography to go, not a single photo! Argh!
That kind of sucks. Especially considering I have photography tomorrow. College sucks anyway. Especially Computing, and English is also really boring at the mo.
In fact I only like photography and the breaks between lessons.
Yey for breaks.
And yey for pointless trips to London that mean missing double English. | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |

| WishList
Step One Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
My Wish List
1. A Creative Zen Touch 20gb mp3 player (ha! like anyone will get it :P) 2. CD: Grand Theft Audio - Blame Everyone 3. CD: Pitchshifter - Psi 4. CD: The Killers - Hot Fuss 5. CD: Hoobastank - Hoobastank 6. DVD: Monkey Dust Series 1 7. DVD: Big Train Series 1 and 2 8. DVD: The Day Today (it's another British TV comedy thingy) 9. DVD: Wayne's World 1 and 2 10. Money... yeah, money, unoriginal but easy.
So there, nerr. So nerr, there... I dunno... | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
